Urban planning

Our living spaces today are largely composed of urban environments, nerve centres of the socio-economic activity of every country. For some decades there has been a real drive to make these living spaces more natural, notably through ‘new urbanism’ approaches.

Biotope intervenes on projects aligned with these innovative approaches, most notably on the issues of nature in the city and adaptive management, management of green spaces as well as on the subjects dealing with the organisation of the city and of its outlying regions so that environmental elements can be integrated into the planning schemes (Plans Locaux d'Urbanisme-PLU-, Territorial Coherence Plan -SCOT-, Green and Blue Corridors -TVB)
