Biotope opens in Dijon

27/05/2018

Biotope recently opened a new office in Dijon, on the Gold Coast, to offer more local responses to the needs of the Bourgogne Franche-Comté region. As Claire Poinsot, Northeast Regional Director, explains: “There is a dynamism and important attention to biodiversity in Bourgogne Franche-Comté.”

Present in all French regions, Biotope already had an office Orléans to intervene in Bourgogne and the Centre region.

Biotope’s objective is to help public and private stakeholders in the environmental approach of their development projects. It helps companies comply with national and international regulatory requirements while developing a project that is respectful of the environment. Claire Poinsot sees ecology as a challenge to be met: “Biodiversity must be integrated into the regional economy, it is the challenge of tomorrow.”

Aurélien Trioux is the new office’s manager and is assisted by a multidisciplinary team of fauna specialists, a botanist and dedicated project leaders to meet this challenge.
