Biotope trains instructor services in Uganda !

05/02/2018

In February 2018, Biotope participated in a training workshop for Ugandan authorities on the Avoid – Reduce – Compensate sequence.

The staff of government agencies in charge of the environment and spatial planning discovered solutions to reconcile biodiversity and development. A drinking water treatment plant project in Katosi, on Lake Victoria, offered a concrete case for analysis.

This course was part of the COMBO Project, in partnership with the Wildlife Conservation Society, with financial support from TOTAL and the CEPF.
