Construction of a black belt

When it comes to public lighting, we need to consider the fauna and flora in addition to energy saving and light efficiency. To go further than simply reducing nuisances and obtaining the means to protect biodiversity, some communities are experimenting with creating a black belt, a night-time ecological corridor.

Biotope worked on this project to ensure that, as required by the biodiversity law, nocturnal nuisances for biodiversity were included in considerations.
